Punk Lolita dress

Punk Lolita is a sub-style of Lolita that is inspired from the British punk. It uses a similar color to the British punk and tonal scheme of reds, blacks, blues, and purple. Classic punk elements such as chains and safety pins are vital elements of Punk Lolita dresses. Favorite fabrics are checks and plaids, along with screen-prints.
It is inspired by Vivienne Westwood and her influences in the UK. Unlike British punk style, Punk Lolita can consist of frilly skirts paired with cutsews or a more delicate blouse with a tougher skirt or pant, and then accessorized with feminine accessories to lighten the look. Your outfit should follow the basic Lolita silhouette rules: A bell-shaped skirt that falls about knee-high or one hand shorter, knee-length or over the knee stockings, and a balance of covered areas versus skin showing. Clothing in this style can have a deconstructed look to it rather than a tailored silhouet.
Common accessories include fishnets, chains, studs, spikes, boots, blouses with spike collars, cutsews with dark prints, and deconstructed fabrics.
Common punk motifs include playing card suits, skulls, and grungy or slightly creepy cute characters.
Make-up of punk Lolita tends to be on the lighter side to evoke a more feminine appearance to the punk look of the outfit.
Hair tends to be either cut in feminine styles like Hime or are worn in more playful hairstyles like romantic waves, high pigtails, and braids. Some girls don this style with shorter, asymmetrical hairstyles or may spike their hair slightly.
